A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR HOSPITALIZATION
INSURANCE FOR CITY EMPLOYEES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to extend
an agreement with American National Insurance Company of Galveston,
Texas to be serviced through the Arkansas Municipal League whereby
hospitalization insurance will be provided for all active employees
of the City of Little Rock with premium cost at an annual rate
effective July 1 , 1977 not to exceed $19 . 77 per employee being
paid by the City of Little Rock. Cost for dependent coverage to
be paid by the employee will be $29 . 51.
SECTION 2 . Competitive bidding for hospitalization insurance
for purposes of extending the present policy is hereby waived.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
