A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RETIREMENT
OF GALE F. WEEKS , CHIEF OF THE LITTLE
ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
•
Be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
•
SECTION 1. Chief Gale F. Weeks, Chief of the Little
Rock Police Department, has served the City of Little Rock for •
in excess of twenty nine years, the last seven and one-half as
Chief, and is now eligible for retirement.
SECTION 2. Chief Weeks has announced to the Board of
Directors that as a result of his effectiveness being questioned
he is prepared to take his retirement at the Board' s pleasure.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby accepts the retirement of Chief Gale F. Weeks,
effective March 2 , 1977.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately after its adoption.
