A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A BID AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION OF THE BAIRD BUILDING;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for renovation and remodeling of
the Baird Building for use as Municipal Court facilities; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to authorize
said renovation and remodeling from the lowest responsible and respon-
sive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to
RDR ENTERPRISES, INC.
for the renovation and remodeling of the Baird Building for use as
Municipal Court facilities at a contract price of $ 369,800.00
A copy of the Bid tabulation sheet is attached to this Resolution
as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set out herein word
for wrod. Funds for said renovation and remodeling have been pre-
viously appropriated for this purpose .
SECTION 2 . The work authorized herein shall at all times comply
with bidding specifications and plans, which are on file in the office
of the Purchasing Department. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed from time to time as necessary to
issue the necessary warrants in payment of said contract price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
