A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ADEN GORDON FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE AS AN EMPLOYEE
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, Aden Gordon has been a dedicated employee of
the City of Little Rock since March 23 , 1953 , serving in the
Milk and Dairy Department as Field Milk Sanitarian, Assistant
Milk Control Superviser, Sanitarian, Milk Control Superviser,
Assistant to directors and served as Director from March 18 ,
1971 to the present time ; and
WHEREAS , under his conscientious direction the Milk and
Dairy Department of the City of Little Rock has become highly
rated by the United States Public Health Service among cities
of comparable size; and
WHEREAS, the retirement of Aden Gordon from City employment
is a loss which all of us will realize and the Board of Directors
would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Mr.
Gordon .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors on behalf of all city
employees and citizens of the City would express to Mr. Aden
Gordon their sincere appreciation for his many years of service
to the City through his employment in the Milk and Dairy Depart-
ment of the City of Little Rock. His dedication and conscien-
tious efforts will always be remembered. Grateful thanks are
hereby extended to Mr. Gordon on behalf of all his associates .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution will be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
