A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION #5, 284 :
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR
CERTAIN NATURAL GAS LINE REPLACEMENT REQUIRED
AS A RESULT OF PUBLIC STREET CONSTRUCTION PRO-
JECTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Resolution #5 ,284 adopted by the Board of
Directors November 5 , 1974 pertaining to the use of Model Cities
funds in providing assistance for certain natural gas line replace-
ment is hereby repealed and this Resolution substituted therefor.
SECTION 2 . From and after the effective date of this
Resolution Community Development Block Grant funds may be expended
for the purpose of providing property owners financial assistance
in defraying the cost of replacement of a natural gas line between
the property owner ' s meter and the main existing in the public
right of way where such replacement is found to be the result of
increased pressure provided by the replacement of the main in the
right of way in an amount not to exceed $300 . 00 per line .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
