A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR CERTAIN CITY
OFFICE BUILDINGS; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for custodial main-
tenance services in the following buildings :
a) Police & Courts Building
b) Police Training Building
c) City Hall
d) Community Service Building
e) OMS Building;
and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to award a contract for said custodial maintenance service to
the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A Contract is hereby awarded to Twin City
Maintenance , Inc. , 2319 Cantrell , Little Rock, Arkansas for
custodial maintenance services at certain City buildings
hereinabove identified, said contract to be effective the
first day of January, 1977 and expire December 31, 1977 . Con-
tract cost shall be $ . 4755 per foot , not to exceed the total
sum of $30 , 360 . 60 for the 12 month period. A copy of the Bid
Tabulation is hereto attached as Exhibit "A" and made a part
of this Resolution. Funds for said contract are available in
the 1977 Budget for the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . The services authorized herein shall at all
times comply with bidding specifications . The City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to issue the
necessary warrants from time to time in payment of said contract
price .

SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
