A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO ARKANSAS
BAPTIST STATE CONVENTION TO CONSTRUCT AN EN-
CLOSED PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE OVER ARCH STREET
BETWEEN FIFTH AND SIXTH STREETS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Arkansas Baptist State Convention is hereby
granted a franchise to construct an enclosed pedestrian bridge
between two buildings on Arch Street between Fifth and Sixth
Streets in the City of Little Rock, the description of said
area is as follows :
The centerline of said pedestrian bridge will be
approximately 20 ' 6" south of the northeast corner
of Lot 10 , Block 127 , Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas , extending across Arch
Street 60 ' to an existing building with the said
centerline of the pedestrian bridge here being
20 ' 6" south of the Northwest corner of Lot 3 ,
Block 116 , Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas . Said pedestrian Bridge will be
approximately ten feet in width and approximately
35 ' above the level of Arch Street.
SECTION 2 . Said franchise is granted on the condition that
the owner comply with all building code , and zoning rules and
regulations and fire prevention code of the City. If at some
time in the future it becomes necessary for the City to utilize
said right of way involved for any purposes deemed necessary,
then upon sixty days written notice by the City, said pedestrian
bridge will be removed and the property restored to its condition
at the time of the granting of this franchise at the sole expense
of the owner.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
