HomeMy WebLinkAbout5610 RESOLUTION NO. 5,610 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATING AND CLOSING OF A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY DEDICATED AS BALLINGER ROAD BETWEEN BATTLE AND LANCASTER ROADS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by authority of Arkansas Statute 19-2304, proposes the vacating and abandoning of a portion of Ballinger Road, described as follows: The South thirty (30') feet of the forty-foot (40') right-of-way which has been dedicated as Ballinger Road, along the North side of Tract 36, Leigh-Butler Acres Addition in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said right-of-way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The hearing on the proposed street closure shall be held at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the 16th day of November, 1976. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
