RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF VANCE STREET, A
PORTION OF McALMONT STREET, AN UNNAMED ALLEY RUNNING
PARALLEL TO AND BETWEEN BRAGG STREET AND VANCE STREET,
AND AN UNNAMED ALLEY RUNNING PARALLEL TO AND BETWEEN
VANCE STREET AND McALMONT STREET, AND A PORTION
OF EAST 30TH STREET, LOCATED WITHIN THE FOLLOWING
ADDITIONS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: RAPLEY
ESTATE, WATKINS ADDITION, AND BRAGG SECOND
ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 28th
day of September , 1976 , asking the Board of Directors
to vacate and abandon portions of Vance Street, a portion of
McAlmont Street, an unnamed alley running parallel to and between
Bragg Street and Vance Street, and an unnamed alley running
parallel to and between Vance Street and McAlmont Street, and
a portion of East 30th Street, located within the following
additions to the City of Little Rock: Rapley Estate, Watkins
Addition, and Bragg Second Addition, as designated on the plats
of the said Additions . The plat of Rapley Estate is now appear-
ing of record in Deed Book AD , at page 146; the plat of Watkins
Addition is now appearing of record in Mortgage Book AB-1, at
page 82; and, the plat of Bragg Second Addition is now appear-
ing of record in Plat Book 2 , at page 44 ; all of which are
located in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas , subject, however, to any public utility easements
located in the aforementioned streets and alleys .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the City Hall at
7:30 o' clock P.M. , on the 16th day of November
1976.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a news-
paper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas , and having general
circulation in the City of Little Rock.
