A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE AMOUNT OF $37, 237 DUE
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS BY METROPLAN, WHICH
REPRESENTS OVERPAYMENT FOR CENTRAL ARK. TRANSIT DURING 1975
WHEREAS, the Transit Policy Board by Resolution
adopted July 21, 1976 recognized that the cities of Little
Rock and North Little Rock, and Pulaski County paid Metroplan
for the operation of Central Arkansas Transit in the year 1975
the sum of $59 ,248 . 00 more than their fifty percent share of
the deficit operating and maintenance expenses of said Central
Arkansas Transit for said year; and
WHEREAS, of the said sum of $59 ,248 . 00 the City of
Little Rock paid $37,237 . 00 from Revenue Sharing funds; and
WHEREAS , the Transit Policy Board by said Resolution
of July 21, 1976 determined that it considered the said sum
of $59 ,248 .00 as a loan to be repaid to the three local govern-
mental entities .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . If and when Metroplan repays to the
City of Little Rock its share of the hereinabove identified
overpayment, same being $37 ,237 .00, such shall be deposited
to the City ' s Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
