A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RIGHT OF ACQUISITION
OF CERTAIN LANDS DESIGNATED IN THE MASTER PARKS
PLAN; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the following identified tracts of land are now
designated as part of the Master Parks Plan of the City of
Little Rock, identified as park site 29NF and 5NF respectively:
a) NW4 of the SE4 of the SE4, Section 5 ,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, in Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas - 10 acre tract
b) East 350 feet of SW4 SE4, Section 2 ,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, except the
right of way of the 8th Street Expressway
in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas - 10 acre tract
and;
WHEREAS , it is the determination of the Board of Directors
that no funds are, or will be, available for the acquisition of
said lands as park sites at this time and it is the desire of the
Board of Directors to release the subject properties from the said
Park Plan from any and all interest of the City of Little Rock.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Those certain lands described as :
a) NW4 of the SE4 of the SE4, Section 5, Township 1 North,
Range 13 West; and
b) East 350 feet of the SW4 SE4, Section 2 , Township 1 North,
Range 13 West, except the right of way of 8th Street
Expressway
both in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas and designated as
park sites 29NF and 5NF on the Master Parks Plan of the City of
Little Rock are hereby released from any interest of the City of
Little Rock and the City Manager and Director of Community Services
Department are hereby directed to remove said park sites from the
said Master Parks Plan.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
