HomeMy WebLinkAbout5561 RESOLUTION NO 5,561 A RESOLUTION AMENDING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND PUBLIC TECH- NOLOGY, INCORPORATED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock, Arkansas on April 11, 1974 entered into an agreement with Public Technology, Incor- porated for the purpose of increasing technology utilization by local governments under the auspices of the National Science Foundation; and WHEREAS, said Agreement called for the transfer of the Technology Agent to the employ and payroll of the City when mutually agreeable before July 1, 1976 ; and WHEREAS , by mutual agreement it is desired that such transfer not take place at this time. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS . SECTION 1. That certain agreement dated April 11, 1974 between the City of Little Rock and Public Technology, Inc. is hereby amended to allow the Technology Agent to remain on Public Technology ' s payroll for the next year of the program. Said Amendment is in form and substance as set out and contained on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of this Reso- lution. SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. ADOPTED: July 6, 1976 ATTEST: 4412-1 APPROVED: p L51100 is•( 4.01L-v4e;211144° City Cler Assistant Mayor 1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO EXHIBIT "A AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN PUBLIC TECHNOLOGY, INCORPORATED AND it THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS FOR THE SERVICES OF AN URBAN TECHNOLOGY AGENT DATED APRIL 11, 1974 THIS AMENDMENT, entered into this day of , 1976, by and between THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") and PUBLIC TECHNOLOGY, INCORPORATED (hereinafter referred to as PTI), is for the sole purpose of revising the date of transfer of the Technology Agent to the employ of the site. Accordingly, the following paragraph of the Agreement should be changed to read: 3(1) Between June 1, 1974, and July 1, 1977, to initiate, if and when mutually agreeable, the transfer of the TA to the em- ploy and payroll of the site in the manner prescribed by local ordinance. The TA shall remain subject, however, to the requirements of this contract and the carrying out of • the UTS Program. All other terms and conditions set forth in the agreement dated above by and between PTI and the Site remain unchanged.
