HomeMy WebLinkAbout5546 RESOLUTION NO 5,546 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR A CONCRETE & MASONRY PUMP AND HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES AT THE EAST LITTLE ROCK COMMUNITY COMPLEX; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of a concrete and masonry pump and housekeeping services at the East Little Rock Community Complex; and WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to authorize the purchase of said pump and award a contract for said housekeeping services to the lowest res- ponsible and responsive bidders . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS . SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded for the purchase of a concrete and masonry pump to the bidder and in the amount as set out on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution . Funds for this purchase are available in Budget Account #576-8536-8 . 01. SECTION 2 . A contract is hereby awarded for housekeeping services at the East Little Rock Community Complex To the bidder and in the amount as set out on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution. Funds for this contract are available from Community Development Block Grant Account No. 604-6 . 09. SECTION 3 . The equipment authorized to be purchased herein and the services to be performed shall at all times comply with bidding specifications. Upon receipt of said equipment and from time to time as may be necessary, the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrants in payment of said contract prices. -2- SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
