A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF THE ARKANSAS STATE
HIGHWAY COMMISSION TO SELL TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
A TRACT OF LAND ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
INDUSTRIAL PARK WHICH LAND WAS ACQUIRED BY THE STATE
HIGHWAY COMMISSION IN CONNECTION WITH THE EAST BELT
FREEWAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Port Authority by Resolution dated
May 10 , 1976 has recommended acquisition by the City of Little Rock
of a parcel of land acquired by the Arkansas Highway Commission in
connection with the construction of the East Belt: Freeway which
o
parel' is in excess of its needs for said projecto..
SECTION 2 . The parcel of land to be sold by' the .Arkansas State
Highway Commission to the City of Little Rock is identified by the
parcel number of said Commission and is to be sold for the con-
sideration shown after the parcel number.
Parcel 313R to be purchased for a consideration of $11,106 . 00
is described more fully as follows :
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16 and part of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 15, all in Township 1 North,
Range 11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter 16, Township 1 North, Range 11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thenceallorthof
01° 30' 32" East along the West line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter a distance of 279.82 feet to a point; thence North 78° 43' 53" East a dis-
tance of 304.14 feet to a point on the southerly proposed right of way line of the
East Belt Freeway for the point of beginning; thence North 63° 00' 11" East along
said proposed right of way line a distance of 203.9 feet to a point; thence North
59° 41' East along said proposed right of ::'ay line a distance of. 366.9 feet to a
point; thence North 64° 50' East along said proposed right of way line a distance
of 234.0 feet to a point; thence North 74° 09' East along said proposed right of
way line a distance of 516.6 feet to a point; thence North 66° 52' East along said
proposed right of way line a distance of 426.1 feet to a point; thence North 59° 21'
26" East along said proposed right of way line a distance of 319.16 feet to a point;
thence South 36° 44' 33" East a distance of 65.66 feet to a point; thence South

SECTION 3 . The recommendation of the Port Authority is
hereby approved and the purchase is authorized.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS , certain lands acquired by the Arkansas Highway
Department for construction of the East-Belt Freeway is excess
to their needs , and
WHEREAS , these lands are needed by the Little Rock Port
Authority to maintain the integrity of their boundaries,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Little Rock Port Authority unanimously recommends
to the Board of Directors , City of Little Rock, acceptance of
the offer to purchase Tract 313R consisting of 13.66 acres for
the sum of Eleven Thousand One Hundred and Six Dollars ,
( $11 , 106 .00) .
