A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO EXTEND
AN EXISTING STRUCTURE IN THE PUBLIC OWNED
RIGHT OF WAY OF COMMERCE STREET; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Hollis and Company of Little Rock is hereby
granted a franchise to extend an existing loading dock situated
on Commerce Street into the public owned right of way of said
Commerce Street approximately twelve (12 ' ) feet. The descrip-
tion of said loading dock is as follows :
Beginning at the Southwest corner of East
3rd Street and Commerce Street; thence
South 34 ' to a point of beginning; thence
South 114 .7 ' to a point; thence East 12 ' to a
point; thence North 114. 7 ' to a point;
thence West 12 ' to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2 . This franchise is granted on the condition
that said dock be so constructed as to provide protection for
all pedestrian traffic which may exist on Commerce Street.
Further, this franchise is granted on the condition that if
at some time in the future it becomes necessary for the City
of Little Rock to utilize the said right of way for any pur-
poses deemed necessary, then upon sixty (60) days written
notice by the City, the owner of said property upon which the
dock is constructed shall be required to remove the dock and
encroachment and restore the property to its condition at the
time of the granting of this franchise at its sole expense.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
