A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND THE OFFICE OF THE
COORDINATOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE STATE OF
ARKANSAS; TRANSFERRING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute an Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Little
Rock with the Office of the Coordinator of Public Safety of the
State of Arkansas for the implementation of a Stop and Yield
sign study and replacement program in the City of Little Rock
to insure that all existing Stop and Yield signs meet the mini-
mum warrants established by the Uniform Manual on Traffic Control
Devices of the Federal Government. The City ' s share of the
total cost of this Program will be ten (10%) percent and not
to exceed in the whole the sum of $24 , 000 . 00 arrived at by
using the multiplier of 4, 000 replaced signes at a cost not
to exceed the sum of $60 . 00 each. The City ' s share of the
cost of this Program will be funded by transfers from Traffic
Control Devices Account #2221-705 and #2221-215 and Street
Maintenance Account #2212-302 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
