A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE BICENTENNIAL
CARILLON PROJECT AT WAR MEMORIAL PARK; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to KINCO, General
Contractors, 8901 Kanis Road, Little Rock, Arkansas for the con-
struction of the Bicentennial Carillon Project to be situated
in War Memorial Park at a cost not to exceed $25 , 000 . 00 based on
unit prices . Funds for this project have previously been allo-
cated, the sum of $5, 000 . 00 from the City Beautiful Commission
budget, $10 , 000 . 00 by City appropriation, and the remainder
having been provided by the Bicentennial Commission.
SECTION 2 . The contractor shall perform the work and con-
struct the Project in keeping with plans and specifications for
same prepared by William Canino, Architect.
SECTION 3 . Upon the recommendation of the Project archi-
tect and in view of the fact that the contractor is providing
the construction at his cost only, competitive bidding is hereby
waived.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
