A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4 , 873;
ABOLISHING THE "CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CRIME
REWARD FUND"; TRANSFERRING FUNDS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , on October 3 , 1972, the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock adopted Resolution No. 4 , 873 which provided
for the establishment of a "City of Little Rock Crime Reward Fund"
into which citizens could place donations; and
WHEREAS , the said fund accumulated the sum of $174 . 63 from
which no disbursements have ever been made; and
WHEREAS, inasmuch as the City has regularly budgeted funds
for informants in excess of the said fund total , it seems appropriate
to close the said account and transfer the said sum into the City ' s
General Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Resolution No . 4 , 873 adopted October 3, 1972
is hereby repealed in its entirety. Those funds in the amount
of $174 . 63 placed in the "City of Little Rock Crime Reward Fund" ,
which said fund was created pursuant to provisions of said Reso-
lution No. 4 , 873, are hereby transferred to the City' s General
Fund and the "City of Little Rock Crime Reward Fund" is hereby
closed.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
