A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
DEVELOP AN EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION SYSTEM; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, City employees , through the recent Job Satisfaction
Study, have expressed a desire and need for an employee recognition
system based on the thought that proper recognition of employees
and their work and accomplishments stimulates morale and produc-
tivity; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors encourages the development of
a proper recognition program for all city employees .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby directed to establish
an employee recognition system for Little Rock City Employees. A
draft of such System should be presented to the Board for review
as soon as possible .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
