RESOLUTION NO 5,387
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE 1975
STREET SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for resurfacing of
certain streets in the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the resurfacing and slurry seal coating of these
certain streets from the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Jack Wood Construction Company, Inc. , of Judsonia,
Arkansas, is hereby awarded a contract for the 1975 Slurry Seal
Program for certain streets in the City of Little Rock at a contract
price of $64 ,537 . 21. Those certain streets to be covered in the
1975 Street Slurry Seal Program are identified on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto.
SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the work , complying in all
respects with bidding specifications , the City Manager and Director
of Finance are hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment thereof. Funds for this project were pro-
vided for in the 1975 Budget of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
