A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE APPLICATION FOR LEAA GRANT FUNDS FOR THE
CONTINUATION OF THE ORGANIZED CRIME UNIT PRO-
GRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager, acting for and on behalf
of the City of Little Rock, is hereby authorized to prepare,
execute and make application with the Arkansas Commission on
Crime and Law Enforcement for LEAA funds in the amount of
$10, 189 . 00 to be used for the continuation of the Organized Crime
i Unit and particularly to fund the position of a crime analyst.
It is understood that of this sum, the Federal Government will
provide $6 , 878. 00; the State will provide $382 . 00 and the City' s
share will be $2 , 929 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
