RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSAL
TO VACATE AND CLOSE THE REMAINDER OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 22,
JONES & WORTHEN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock proposes that, in order to better
provide for the public welfare, safety, comfort and convenience of the
inhabitants of the City of Little Rock, that the remaining portion of the
Alley in Block 22, Jones & Worthen Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be vacated, abandoned and closed, under Arkansas Statutes Ann.
1 19-2304, subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said Alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said proposal shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P . M. ,
on the 17th day of December, 1974.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week
for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
