A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO DO DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PHASE II-STAGE II at 17th &
BOND STREETS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitation for bids have been duly published
and bids received in accordance therewith for the performance
of construction work on Phase II-Stage II Drainage Improvement
Project at 17th & Bond Streets in the City of Little Rock;
and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bid based
on said invitations has been determined and it is the desire
of the Board of Directors to award a contract accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Mehaffy Con-
struction Company of North Little Rock , Arkansas at a contract
price of $139 ,500 . 00 for the construction of work on Phase II-
Stage II Drainage Improvement Project at 17th and Bond Streets
in the City of LIttle Rock.
SECTION 2 . This contract is awarded on condition that
the Little Rock Municipal Airport contribute to the overall
cost the sum of $43 . 500 . 00 . The balance of the contract
price has heretofore been appropriated and set aside for this
project .
SECTION 3 . Upon completion of the work, or from time to
time as may be necessary, the City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of said contract price. All work shall
comply with bidding specifications and requirements which are
on file in the office of the Purchasing Agent for the City of
Little Rock.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
