A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED IN FAVOR
OF THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION
CONVEYING TO SAID COMMISSION CERTAIN PARCELS
OF LAND NEEDED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF INTER-
STATE I-630;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock is the owner of
certain lands in the City of Little Rock, which is needed
for the right of way of Interstate I-630 now being acquired
by the Arkansas State Highway Commission. The City has
agreed to convey the following described parcels to the
Arkansas State Highway Commision to be used by it for the
right of way of the said I-630 . The parcels of land to
be conveyed are described as follows :
A part of Lots 11 and 12, Block 3, Phil Water ' s
Place to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Block 3, Phil Water ' s
Place to the City 8f Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run S 87 01 ' 27" E 142 .50 feet along the
North property line of Lot 12 of said Block to the
NE corner of said lot; thence S 1 28 ' 33"W 2 .65
feet along the East property line of said lot to a
point on the South right of way of the East-West
Expressway; thence S 80 ° 43 ' 33" W 145 .00 feet
along the said right of way to a point on West
line of said Block; thence N 1 ° 28 ' 33" E. 33.42
feet along the west line of said Block to the
point of beginning. Area containing 2, 554.54 square
feet, more or less .
All of Lot 1 and part of Lot 2, Block 4, Phil Water ' s
Place to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the NE corner of Block 4, Phil Water ' s
Place to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run S 1° 28" 33" W, 42 .05 feet along the
East line of said Block to a point on the South
right of way of the East-West Expressway; thence
S 80 ° 43 ' 33" W 119.56 feet along the said right of
way to a point on the West property line of Lot 2,
thence N 1 ° 28 ' 33" E 67 .40 feet along the said

property line of Lot 1 and 2, to the NW corner
of Lot 1, thence S 87 ° 01 ' 27" E 117 . 50 feet along
North line of Block 4 to the point of beginning.
Area containing 6, 429.03 square feet, more or less.
All of Lot 12 and part of Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11,
Block 4, Phil Water's Place to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning at the NW corner of Block 4, Phil Water ' s
Place to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run S 87 ° 01 ' 27" East, 117 . 50 feet along
the North property line of Lot 12 of said Block
to the NE corner of said Lot; thence S 1 ° 28 ' 33"
W 70 .63 feet to a point on the South right of way
of the East-West Expressway; thence S 80 ° 43 ' 33"
W 83 .86 feet along the said right of way to a point
thence S 3 ° 48 ' 33" W, 191. 59 feet along the said

Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 1, Block 3,
Sanderfur ' s Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, run S 1 ° 40 ' 33" W,
49.50 feet along the east line of said Block to
a point on the South right of way of the East-
West Expressway; thence N 79° 21 ' 47" W, 144. 22
feet along the said right of way to a point on the
east line of Lot 1; thence N 1 ° 40 ' 33" E, 29. 30
feet to the NW corner of said Lot; thence S 87 °
28 ' 27" E, 142 . 50 feet along the north line of
said Lot to the point of beginning. Area contain-
ing 5, 623 . 65 square feet, more or less .

Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run S 87 ° 28 ' 27" E, 142 .50 feet along
the north line of Lot 12 to the NE corner of said
Lot, thence S 1 ° 40 ' 33" W, 27 . 30 feet along the
East line of said lot to a point on the South
right of way of East-West Expressway; thence N 79 °
21' 47" W, 144. 25 feet along the said right of way
to a point on the west line of Block 3; thence N
1° 40 ' 33" E, 7 .08 feet along the said line to the
point of beginning. Area containing 2,439.78 square
feet, more or less .
SECTION 2 . Therefore, the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, a Quitclaim Deed conveying said properties
to the Arkansas State Highway Commission and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to attest same and deliver
same to the Arkansas State Highway Commission.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
