A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A SUBCONTRACT
WITH THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AGENCY FOR
THE OPERATION OF A SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a subcontract with the Economic Oppor-
tunity Agency for the operation of a Summer Youth Employment
Program, said program to begin on or about June 1, 1974 , for
the purpose of providing summer employment to students during
the summer months . The program is funded by the United States
Department of Labor.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
