A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ESTABLISH THREE TEMPORARY POSITIONS IN THE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT
TO PROVISIONS OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL PER-
SONNEL ACT OF 1970 ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Pursuant to provisions of the Intergovern-
i
mental Personnel Act of 1970 the following temporary positions
are hereby established in the Department of Community Develop-
ment:
a) One architect
b) One Administrator
The term of employment for said temporary positions will
be no longer than six months . It is understood that the City
will pay fifty-one percent of these persons annual salary for
a total cost of $9 , 000 .00 .
SECTION 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to
employ Dr. Richard Nygaard to work with the Planning Division
for a term of three months at a rate of $750 . 00 per month.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
