HomeMy WebLinkAbout5199 RESOLUTION NO. 5,199 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED EXECUTED BY C. A. BARNETT AND GERALDINE T . BARNETT AND G. 0. HARPER AND MILDRED E. HARPER, FOR THE PUR- POSES OF CONSTRUCTING AN EASEMENT OVER AND ACROSS CERTAIN LANDS IN CONNECTION WITH THE GEYER SPRINGS ROAD PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. On February 27 , 1974 , C. A. Barnett and Geraldine T. Barnett , his wife , and G. 0. Harper and Mildred E. Harper, his wife , executed an Easement Deed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , for the construction of an under- ground drainage facility in connection with the Geyer Springs Road Project. The land therein conveyed is described as follows : Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of section 1, Township 1 South, Range 13 West, Pulaski County , Arkansas , more particularly described as follows : Starting at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, said corner being at Centerline Station 60+00 of Geyer Springs Road; thence South 02° 26 ' West along said Centerline and Section line a distance of 400 . 00 feet to a point; thence North 87° 34 ' West a distance of 42 . 5 feet to a point on the proposed westerly right of way line of said Road for the point of beginning; thence South 00° 17 ' 39" West along said proposed right of way line a distance of 20 . 59 feet to a point; thence South 73° 52 ' 59 " West a distance of 207 . 35 feet to a point; thence South 16 07 ' 53" East a distance of 104 . 58 feet to a point; thence South 73° 41 ' 19 " West a distance of 30 .00 feet to a point; thence North 16° 07 ' 53" West a distance of 247 . 35 feet to a point; thence North 02° 16 ' East a distance of 316 . 93 feet to a point; thence North 87° 44 ' West a distance of 151. 01 feet to a point thence North 02° 24 ' East a distance of 3. 00 feet to a point on the existing southerly right of way line of Baseline Road; thence South 87° 44 ' East along said existing right of way line a distance of 150 . 00 feet to a point on the proposed southerly right of way line of Baseline Road; thence South 87° 44 ' East along said proposed right of way line a distance of 40 .01 feet to a point; thence South 02° 16 ' West a distance of 3. 00 feet to a point; thence North 87° 44 ' West a distance of 9 . 00 feet to a point ; thence South 02° 16 ' West a distance of 311. 75 feet to a point; thence South 16° 07 ' 53" East a distance of 108. 12 feet to a point; thence North 73° 52 ' 59" East a distance of 216 . 38 feet to a point on the proposed westerly right of way line of Geyer Springs Road; thence South 02° 55 ' 31" West along said proposed right of way line a distance of 10 . 78 feet to the point of beginning and containing 23 , 716 square feet , more or less . -2- SECTION 2 . The City of Little Rock , Arkansas , hereby accepts the Easement Deed conveying the above described property to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , for and in consideration of the benefits accruing to the grantors and to the public generally.
