A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMMISSIONERS IN
MISSOURI STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 631
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Missouri Street
Improvement District No. 631 of Little Rock, Arkansas has reported that Leslie
T. Sawyer, the Secretary of the District, has moved from the District and is
no longer a property owner and is disqualified from acting, and Roy Bell, the
other Commissioner, is refusing and neglecting to act as Commissioner, and
that a successor or successors should be appointed to take their places on
the Board of Commissioners; And
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 20-116, if those appointed
refuse or neglect to act, the governing body of the city has the authority to
appoint new members to the Board of Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners has recommended the
appointment of Anna Greenway and Charles R. Dougan as successors upon
the Board and has reported that said nominees are property-owners in the Dis-
trict and are qualified and willing to serve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
That Anna Greenway and Charles R. Dougan be and they are hereby
appointed as commissioners of Missouri Street Improvement District No. 631
of Little Rock, Arkansas, and they are hereby directed to forthwith take their
oaths of office and enter upon their duties as successor commissioners.
