A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE AND FILE APPLICATION WITH THE ARKANSAS
COMMISSION ON CRIME AND LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR
LEAA GRANT FUNDS TO BE USED FOR THE OPERATION
OF PROJECT "RAP" ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
make and file application with the Arkansas Commission on
Crime and Law Enforcement for LEAA grant funds to be used
for the operation of Project "RAP" , which project is to
place foot patrolmen in residential areas for the purpose
of preventing burglaries. The total project cost is
$320 ,383 . 00 of which sum $288 , 346 . 00 is to be provided by
Federal funds and the matching share of $32 ,037 . 00 to be
provided by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
