A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A FIRE STATION AT THE
LITTLE ROCK PORT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation for bids have been duly published and
bids received in accordance therewith for the construction of
a fire station at the Little Rock Port; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bid has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
award a contract for construction of said fire station.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Henry-Holland
Construction Company, 7624 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Arkansas
for the construction of a fire station to be situated at the
Little Rock Port. Cost for said project shall not exceed the
sum of $284 ,769 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants periodically as construction progresses , said work
shall comply in all respects with plans and specifications
now on file in the office of the Purchasing Department.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
