A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEDICATION DEED
GRANTED BY PAUL D . MORRISS, JR. AND PATRICIA
A. MORRISS TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 : The City of Little Rock hereby accepts from
Paul D. Morriss, Jr. and Patricia A. Morriss title to the
following described properties situated in Pulaski County,
Arkansas :
A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 , SE 1/4 ,
Section 23 , -1-N, R-13-W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as:
Beginning at a point on the West line of said
SW 1/4 , SE 1/4, 300 . 0 feet S 0° 08 ' E of the
Northwest corner thereof; thence N 85° 37 ' E,
155. 0 feet; thence S 74° 13 ' 13" E, 183 . 89 feet to
the Southwest corner of Lot 9 , Woodlawn Heights
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence N 83° 26 ' W, 333 . 7 feet to the point of
beginning; containing 0 .1127 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2 . Title being conveyed to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas to the properties described in Section 1 hereof
shall be conveyed by Dedication Deed which is in form and
substance as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof , the same as though set out herein word for
word. It is understood by the City of Little Rock that the
said Paul D. Morriss, Jr. and Patricia A. Morriss, his wife,
have placed a value on the properties herein dedication of
$2 , 000 . 00.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
THAT we, Paul D. Morriss , Jr. , and Patricia A. Morriss, his wife,
jGrantors--donors--for and in consideration of the benefits accruing
to us and to the public generally, do hereby grant and dedicate to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , Grantee, forever, for public park
purposes to become a part of Hindman Park in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , a tract of land owned by us , situated in Pulaski County,

Arkansas , described as follows:
A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Section
23, T-1-N, R-13-W, Pulaski County , Arkansas , more partic-
ularly described as : Beginning at a point on the West
line of said SW 1/4 , SE 1/4, 300 . 0 feet S 0° 08 ' E of
the Northwest corner thereof; thence N 85° 37 ' E, 155. 0
! feet; thence S 74° 13 ' 13" E, 183 . 89 feet to the South-
west corner of Lot 9 , Woodlawn Heights Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas ; thence N 83° 26 ' W, 333 . 7
feet to the point of beginning; containing 0 . 1127 acre,
more or less .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , and unto its successors and assigns forever, for the pur-
poses of the public uses and benefits herein described, together
with all and singular the tenements, appurtenances and hereditaments
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
AND I , Patricia A. Morriss , wife of the said Paul D. Morriss ,
Jr . , for the considerations aforesaid, do hereby release and relin-
quish unto the said City of Little Rock, Arkansas , and unto its suc- 1
cessors and assigns all of my right or possibility of dower and
homestead in and to said lands.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF , we have hereunto set our hands and seals

On this day personally appeared before the undersigned, a Notary
Public in and for the County and State aforesaid, duly qualified and
acting, Paul D. Morriss , Jr. , and Patricia A. Morriss , his wife, to
me well known to be the persons whose names appear as Grantors in the
foregoing conveyance, and stated that they had executed the same for
the considerations , uses and purposes therein mentioned and set forth.
And on the same day also voluntarily appeared before me in person
Patricia A. Morriss , wife of the said Paul D. Morriss , Jr. , to me well
known, and, in the absence of her said husband, declared that she had,
of her own free will, executed the foregoing conveyance and signed
and sealed the relinquishment of dower and homestead therein expressed,
for the purposes and consideration therein contained and set forth,
without compulsion and/or undue influence of her said husband.
