A RESOLUTION RENEWING THE BUS BENCH FRANCHISE
GRANTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2756, AS AMENDED;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . That certain Bus Bench Franchise granted by
Resolution No. 2756 adopted November 6, 1961, as amended, which
franchise is now held by Public Bench Ads, Inc . , is hereby re-
newed for a period of twenty-four (24) months from December 1,
1973 in accordance with the terms and provisions now applicable
thereto but subject to the following special conditions :
a . The City of Little Rock will work to its fullest cap-
abilities in an effort to convince the U. S. Department of
Transportation of the acceptability of a private bus bench
operation.
b. If the U. S. Department of Transportation determines that
a private bus bench operation is acceptable, the City of Little
Rock will consider a renewal of this franchise for a term and at
a rental rate then to be determined, the language and provisions
of which to be satisfactory with the U. S . Department of Trans-
portation.
c . In addition to the right of the City to cancel this
franchise as provided for by Resolution No. 2756, as amended, it
is subject to cancellation upon sixty (60) days written notice
by the City that bus benches will no longer be permitted upon
public right-of-way or that same will be acquired and operated
by the City or its Designee.
SECTION 2 . All provisions of Resolution No. 2756 not in-
consistent with provisions of this resolution shall remain in
full force and effect.

SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
