A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
CORRECTIVE WORK ON THE PATIO AT HINDMAN
PARK CLUBHOUSE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, defects developed in the concrete patio slab
on the South side of the Hindman Park Clubhouse which re-
quired that the aggregate covering for the said patio be
replaced according to plans and specifications for such pre-
pared by Gene Withrow, Architect for the City; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder
to perform said corrective work is found and determined to
be Anderson Glasco at a cost not to exceed $2 , 800 . 00; and
WHEREAS , the general contractor for said clubhouse ,
RBC, has refused to perform said corrective work and the City
has retained the sum of $5 ,000 . 00 of such contract price to
cover the cost of said corrective work.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Anderson
Glasco at a cost not to exceed $2 , 800 . 00 to perform correc-
tive work to the aggregate covering for the patio on the South
side of the Hindman Park Clubhouse in keeping with plans and
specifications for such as prepared by Gene Withrow, Architect .
SECTION 2 . The cost for the work for performing the corr-
ective work provided for herein shall be paid from the retainage
of RBC bid price and the balance of said retainage paid over
to RBC at such time as the corrective work is completed in accor-
dance with plans and specifications .
SECTION 3 . When the corrective work herein authorized is
completed by Anderson Glasco and accepted in accordance with
plans and specifications for such, the City Manager and Director
of Finance are hereby authorized to issue payment of the City
of Little Rock in the amount of said contract price .

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
