A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF MODEL
CITIES FUNDS TO PROVIDE INTERIM FINANCING
IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PLANNED FOR GOOD
SPIRIT SINGING UNION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve the
use of Model Cities funds up to $70 ,000 . 00 as interim financing
for construction for the benefit of Good Spirit Singing Union,
as Lessee , to provide improvements planned for developing
business in the Model Cities area upon properties leased to
the said Good Spirit Singing Union identified as Lots 1 , 2 ,
3 and 4 , Block B , East End Addition to the City of Little Rock.
It is fully understood and conditioned that the said funds
used for interim financing purposes herein authorized shall
be repaid to the City at such time as permanent financing is
provided with the further understanding that the arrangements
for such permanent financing have been agreed to.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
