A RESOLUTION EXERCISING A CERTAIN OPTION
EXECUTED BY GEORGE HOKE AND GLENN HOKE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR THE
SUM OF $45 , 000 . 00 FROM THE MODEL CITIES FUND
UPON APPROVAL OF THE TITLE BY THE CITY
ATTORNEY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Real Estate Option executed by George Hoke and
Glenn Hoke on the 13th day of August , 1973 , in favor of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , is hereby accepted, subject to the approval
of title by the City Attorney ' s office , to the following described
properties :
All that part of Block 24 and 25 in Garland' s Addition to the
City of Little Rock, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of East Sixth Street a
distance of 150 feet West of the West line of a Railroad right-
of-way; thence North to the North side of Block 24 ; thence East
along the North side of Block 24 to the Northeast corner of
Block 24 ; thence Southwesterly along the West line of the rail-
road right-of-way to the North line of Sixth Street; thence
Westerly along the North line of Sixth Street a distance of 150
feet to the point of beginning; and
Lots 8 , 9 , 10 , 11, 12 , 13 , and 14 , Block 1, Oil Mill Addition to
the City of Little Rock , Arkansas ; and
East i , Lot 5 and 6 and East 10 feet of Lot 7 , Block 1, Oil Mill
Addition and Lot 2 , Block 1, Oil Mill Addition.
SECTION 2 . The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the payment
of the sum of Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45 , 000. 00) from the Model
Cities Fund to George Hoke and Glenn Hoke upon their execution of a
Warranty Deed in favor of the City of Little Rock and after approval
of the title to the above described lands by the City Attorney' s
office.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
