A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MASONRY WORK AT
CONCESSION AND RESTROOM BUILDING AT THE EAST LITTLE
ROCK COMMUNITY COMPLEX; AUTHORZING PAYMENT; REJECTING
ALL BIDS FOR CONCRETE WORK AT HANGER HILL PARK; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , invitations for bids were advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto to provide masonry work for the concession and rest-
room building at the East Little Rock Community Complex and concrete
work for Hanger Hill Park; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bid for the masonry
work at East Little Rock Communicty Complex has been determined and the
Board of Directors are desirous of awarding contract to such bidder; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined to reject all bids
for concrete work at Hanger Hill Park said bids opened August 1, 1973
and readvertise for such work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Contract for masonry work for concession and restroom
building at East Little Rock Community Complex is hereby awarded to
Dan Deckard, Route 1, Box 431-17, Aiexander, Arkansas at a cost not
to exceed $3, 100.00, which sum the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized to pay on the completion of said work satisfying
in all respects the plans and specifications for such on file in the
office of the Purchasing Agent.
SECTION 2 . All bids opened August 7, 1973 for concrete work
for Hanger Hill Park are hereby rejected and the purchasing office
is hereby instructed to readvertise for said work.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
