A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE CITY OF NORTH
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ON THE PUBLICLY OWNED
TENNIS FACILITIES AND FOR BRINGING THE DAVIS
CUP MATCHES TO THEIR CITY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City of North Little Rock, Arkansas is
commended for providing extraordinary tennis facilities in
Burns Park. Further, the City Government of North Little Rock
and all persons who participated in arranging for and planning
and conducting the Davis Cup Tennis Matches at said facilities
should know that all citizens of the Community take great pride
in their accomplishment and are most appreciative for their
efforts which brought most favorable worldwide attention to
North Little Rock and the State of Arkansas .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
