A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ACTING CITY MANAGERS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Effective immediately , E. Jack Murphy , Director
of Finance , and Joseph C. Kemp, City Attorney , are appointed
Acting City Managers serving at the will of the Board of Direc-
tors. Such responsibility as Acting City Manager is in addition
to their duties as Director of Finance and City Attorney.
SECTION 2 . Additional salaries are hereby authorized for
said Acting City Managers in the amount of $750 . 00 monthly for
each.
SECTION 3. Either said Acting City Manager, in such capacity,
is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City
such warrants , checks and vouchers as may be required and proper
from time to time and the bank depositories of the City are
hereby authorized to recognize his signature as being valid for
and on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
