A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF VARIOUS VEHICLES FOR USE BY DEPARTMENTS WITHIN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; FOR PROVIDING AIR CONDITIONING
SYSTEM FOR ZOO ASSEMBLY BUILDING; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
in response thereto according to law for the purchase of various vehi-
cles for use by the City of Little Rock and for an air conditioning
system for the Zoo Assembly Building; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bidders have been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas to award contracts to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidders .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on vehicles
for use by the City and an air conditioning system for the Zoo Assembly
Building are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows :

SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the above mentioned vehicles and
installation of the air conditioning system, complying in all respects
with bidding specifications , the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of same.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
