A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A TRACTOR-SHOVEL FOR USE BY
THE CITY; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT ; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
a tractor-shovel for use by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS , THE Lowest responsible and responsive bid has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize a contract for the purchase of said tractor-
shovel from the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
a tractor-shovel for use by the City of Little Rock is hereby
accepted and a contract awarded to Little Rock Road & Machinery
Co. , Little Rock, Arkansas for a total purchase price , including
trade-in, of $14 ,995 . 00 . The Model to be purchased is an
H50C, Hough gas engine type.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the tractor-shovel complying
in all respects with bidding specifications the City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary warrant in payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
