A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE LITTLE
ROCK HOUSING AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE CERTAIN
CURBS , GUTTERS , STORM DRAINAGE AND PAVING
IMPROVEMENTS TO MAIN STREET BETWEEN 27th
AND 29th STREETS UNDER ITS EXISTING CONTRACT
WITH THE BEN M. HOGAN COMPANY; REALLOCATING
CERTAIN MODEL CITIES FUNDS ; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute an Agreement between the City of Little Rock and the
Little Rock Housing Authority whereby the Little Rock Housing
Authority under its existing contract with Ben M. Hogan Com-
pany would provide those street improvements to South Main
Street between 27th and 29th Streets as set forth in plans and
specifications heretofore prepared for the City of Little Rock
by Blaylock, Threet and Associates for said project. It being
understood that the unit prices as prevailing between the Hogan
Company and the Little Rock Housing Authority for similar work
will prevail for the improvements herein provided for, that
the total cost to the City of Little Rock for all purposes shall
not exceed the sum of $85 ,409 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . The sum of $18 , 000. 00 is hereby reprogrammed
from Model Cities NDP 3rd Year Project to 3rd Year Street Impro-
vement Project to be used toward defraying the cost of the
improvements provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3 : This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
