A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT CERTAIN GRANT FUNDS FROM THE
COMMISSION ON CRIME AND LAW ENFORCEMENT
OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF BOMB DISPOSAL EQUIPMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager, acting for and on behalf of
the City of Little Rock is hereby authorized to accept from
the Commission on Crime and Law Enforcement of the State of
Arkansas , grant funds in the amount of $6 ,973 . 00 to be used
for the purpose of providing bomb disposal equipment to be
used by the Little Rock Fire Department. It is understood that
the local share of the total project cost will be provided
by the City of Little Rock by In-kind services in the amount
of $3 , 821. 00 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
