A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR REPAIRS TO
TD-25 DOZER; WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the TD-25 Dozer for the Little Rock Sanitary Land Fill
is critically in need of general repairs ; parts for which are avail-
able only at one source of supply , namely , Little Rock Road Machinery
Company, thus creating an exceptional situation justifying waiving
competitive bidding for such repairs .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Road Machinery Company is hereby awarded
a contract to provide all those necessary repairs to the TD-25 Dozer at
the Little Rock Sanitary Land Fill , supplying all necessary parts and
labor required to rehabilitate said machine to a good mechanical state
of repair. It is understood that the cost of such labor and parts shall
not exceed the sum of ten thousand, six hundred, fifty-one and 65/100
($10 ,651. 65) dollars .
SECTION 2 . Due to the fact that Little Rock Road Machinery Company
is the only source of supply for parts necessary to repair said TD-25
Dozer, creating an exceptional situation, competitive bidding for such
repairs is hereby waived.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
