RESOLUTION NO. 4,902
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR
VARIOUS ITEMS TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK;AMENDING IN PART RESOLUTION
NO. 4881; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
various items to be used by the City of Little Rock , Arkansas ;
and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize contracts to be awarded to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidders .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
contracts for purchase of the following items are hereby accepted
and contracts awarded as follows :

SECTION 2 . That portion of Resolution 4881, adopted October 3,
1972 awarding contracts to Spauldings Co. for 2 Bumper pool tables
at a purchase price of $329 . 60 and 2 Billiard tables at a purchase
price of $749 . 84 is hereby repealed due to the inability of
Spauldings to meet specifications on these items . Contracts are
hereby awarded to Mike Clifford Sales for the purchase of 2 bumper
pool tables at a purchase price of $354 . 32 and 2 billiard tables
for a purchase price of $768. 38.
SECTION 3. Upon satisfaction of these contracts , complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal ,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in
payment of said purchase price.
SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
