A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN
APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS TO PROVIDE BOMB
DISPOSAL EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager, acting for and on behalf
of the City of Little Rock is hereby authorized to make and
file application with the State of Arkansas-Commission on
Crime and Law Enforcement for a grant in the amount of
$6 ,973 . 00 to be expended for the purpose of providing bomb
disposal equipment and used by the Little Rock Fire Depart-
ment. The total cost for this project is $10 , 794. 00 and
the local matching share of said project cost in the amount
of $3 , 821. 00 will be provided by In Kind Services .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
