A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE SURPLUS AMOUNT OF
MONEY REMAINING IN CERTAIN BOND ACCOUNTS AFTER
THE PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST IN FULL
ON GENERAL OBLIGATION MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BONDS
OF 1955 ISSUED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 9 ,747
OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
PASSED JANUARY 31 , 1955 ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock has heretofore issued
and sold for value various bonds known as City of Little Rock
General Obligation Municipal Airport Bonds of 1955 issued
pursuant to Ordinance No. 9 , 747 of the City of Little Rock
passed January 31, 1955 ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has levied a tax for
the purpose of paying said bonds and interest thereon and
placed said revenues in a special account to be used for said
retirement and interest purposes; and
WHEREAS , the said bonds with interest thereon have now
been paid in full; and
WHEREAS, the sum of approximately $9 , 824. 01 now remains
in the bond retirement fund for said bonds which sum is net
after the payment of all bonds and interest due thereon through
maturity; and,
WHEREAS , the excess or surplus amount should now be used
for proper public municipal purposes.
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The surplus or excess amount of money now
remaining in the bond retirement fund maintained for the City
of Little Rock General Obligation Municipal Airport Bonds of
1955 issued pursuant to Ordinance No. 9 , 747 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas passed January 31, 1955 is hereby allocated
and dedicated for use so far as said sum of money may extend for
the purpose of making improvements through construction or pro-
viding equipment at the Little Rock Municipal Airport.

SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
