A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM COMMISSION PER-
TAINING TO THE JURISDICTION AND OTHER RELATED
MATTERS FOR PARKING VEHICLES AT WAR MEMORIAL
STADIUM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with the War Memorial
Stadium Commission acting for and on behalf of the City of
Little Rock pertaining to the parking of vehicles at War
Memorial Stadium; providing for the fees to be charged for
such vehicular parking and for other purposes , which Agree-
ment shall be in form and substance as follows:
AGREEMENT
In an effort to identify areas of jurisdiction and responsibility 1
on the charges for buses and cars between the War Memorial Stadium
Commission and the City of Little Rock, it is hereby agreed as follows:
AREA - East parking lot and tennis court parking - War Memorial
Stadium
LENGTH OF AGREEMENT - The length of this agreement shall be for
one year, September 1, 1972, to September 1, 1973 . At the time of
termination, a revaluation of areas of responsibility, etc . shall be
reviewed, and a new agreement made .
JURISDICTION - The Stadium Commission shall have exclusive
jurisdiction for the east parking lot and the tennis court parking
area for all athletic events scheduled at War Memorial Stadium. The
Stadium Commission shall have exclusive jurisdiction of the West Park-
ing area.
The following charges shall be made by the Stadium Commission:
East Parking Area: $7 .50 per bus per game
$10.00 per car per season
OTHER AREAS : $1 .00 per car per game
The funds received less out of pocket expenses incurred for
sales will be forwarded to the City of Little Rock for the present
improvement program in progress and the projected improvement program.
The City will be responsible for all maintenance and clean up
work on the east parking area, scholarship parking area, and the tennis
court parking area during the length of this agreement .
The City will also be responsible for scheduling the uses of this
area when area is not used by the Stadium Commission for parking . The
City will coordinate the following schedules for recreation and train-
ing purposes:
High school driver training Kite flying contests
Police and Fire Department training Volley Ball tournaments
Bicycle safety program City-wide Hula Hoop and
other contests
Various inspection programs
Model airplane flying
Bicycle and mini bicycle races
0 Dog shows
In the event other uses are proposed, the City Manager
and the Manager of War Memorial Stadium must jointly agree .

SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
