A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SIGN AN ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT, LETTER OR
DOCUMENTS , FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE UNITED
STATES CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION TO PROVIDE
FOR STAFFING AND ORGANIZING A TRAINING AND
ORIENTATION CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized, acting
for and on behalf of the City of Little Rock to execute such
instrument or instruments as may be required in accepting grant
funds in the amount of $11 ,172 . 00 from the United States
Civil Service Commission as authorized by the Intergovernmental
Personnel Act of 1970 . Local share for this grant project in
the amount of $6 ,380 . 00 is available for a total project cost
of $17 ,552 . 00 . Grant Project is No. 72-ARO3 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
