A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT A GRANT AGREEMENT FOR FUNDS FROM THE
ARKANSAS COMMISSION ON CRIME AND LAW ENFORCE-
MENT TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZED CRIME UNIT IN THE
LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept and execute on behalf of the City of Little Rock a
contract or documents for grant funds in the amount of
$50 ,000. 00 from the Arkansas Commission on Crime and Law
Enforcement to be matched with local funds in the amount of
$34 ,718. 00 , all to provide an organized crime unit in the
Little Rock Police Department. Project for this grant is
now identified as No. 72-163 (formerly 71-401L) .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
