RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE
THAT PORTION OF 21ST STREET LYING BETWEEN MONROE AND MADISON
STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 4th day of May, 1972, asking the Board
of Directors to vacate and abandon all of that portion of 21st Street lying
between Monroe and Madison Streets in James H. Penick's Subdivision of the
North One-Half of Lot 4, Block 1 of Hyde Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, as designated on the Plat of said Addition now appearing of record in
Plat Book 3, Page 5, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of
the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P. M. , on the 18th
day of July, 1972.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
